Clarity Starts Here

When you are going through a divorce, a separation or a parenting case, the uncertainty around money and schedules can feel overwhelming. Questions about child support, spousal maintenance and property division deserve straight answers.

We created these free, confidential calculators to give you a clear starting point. They are built on Washington law: the 2026 child support schedule in chapter 26.19 RCW, the maintenance factors in RCW 26.09.090, and the community property rules in chapter 26.16 RCW. Where Washington leaves a decision to the judge, the tools show you a range and the factors that move it.

Built on Washington Law. Designed for Peace of Mind.

Built for Washington cases

  • Updated for the 2026 schedule: our child support tool uses the economic table and limits that took effect January 1, 2026 under EHB 1014, including the table's $50,000 combined monthly net income ceiling, the $2,200 low-income threshold, and a self-support reserve set at 180 percent of the federal poverty guideline. Current as of September 2026. The federal poverty guideline changes annually; we update the tool when it does.

  • Clear about discretion: Washington law leaves maintenance, residential credits and property division largely to the court's discretion. There is no formula. Where that's true, our tools show a range based on the statutory factors and local practice, and identify what moves it. A range is not a prediction of what a judge will do in your case.

  • Private by design: we don't ask for your name, email or phone number to show you your numbers. Because no one at our firm reviews what you enter, using these tools does not make you a client of Northwest Family Law and does not create an attorney-client or confidential relationship.
